THERE IS NO SHELTER. Leonard Cohen once said, “If you don’t become the ocean you’ll be seasick every day.” On that note, shelter is an illusion. Civilization perpetuates a myth of refuge through an expectation of ease and convenience.
Humans submit themselves to lifetimes of suffering chasing these expectations. Demanding that their needs are supreme to all others and that everything should be controlled in their attempt to be met. Key word here is attempt. Humans are not gods. We control nothing. Continue reading...
